About Us
Mantec Services, Inc. was founded in 1987 to offer manufacturing
technology and services to original equipment manufacturers. The
principles starting Mantec came with many years of engineering and management experience in design, development and manufacturing.
Our first contract opportunity came in the form of electronic assemblies
for local OEM’s. Today we continue with contracts in this
area, with this activity representing about 20% of our total billing.
Due to our success in manufacturing specialized electronic cable
and PWB assemblies for the US military, in 1990 we began to win
contracts for a wide variety of military replacement hardware, ranging
from single parts to sophisticated assemblies. We continue to successfully
demonstrate the capability of managing contracts involving multiple
sources of supply and support.
Opportunity struck again in 1993 when we were invited to enter the
spa industry to develop a line of outdoor spa pillows. Here we invented
new ways of producing soft, water and chemical resistant pillows
by developing our own formulas for materials and patents covering
process and designs. This provided for a gradual transition as a
leading supplier to Bathtub OEM’s.
We build a wide range of custom pillows and cushions, working with a customer's design and incorporating our own expertise to obtain the desired results. Throughout the years we have emerged as a leader in custom foam molding by expanding our markets beyond the hot and wet conditions of the bath and spa industry to include medical/dental furniture, safety and a variety of industrial cushions.
